Sketched - Prospector

"Short, but still good."

date: July 31, 2009

Bit reminiscent of Will Ferrel as the "Old Prospector".

Author's Response:

Bill says he never saw that sketch, the prospector is kinda a staple of the character acting world so I'm sure it sounds like a number of people haha.

The Best Years of my Life

"Tip my hat..."

date: July 19, 2009

Quite brilliant what you did there ;)

Shame this didn't receive any medals/front page, but then again, you didn't use any mario or sonic sprites...

Journeys of Reemus: Ch 3

"Another great chapter in the Reemus series..."

date: July 13, 2009

Kudos on providing us with two different paths with which to tackle the game. It provides players with a reason to replay this fun game. (aside from just getting all the medals...)

Unfortunately, this chapter is much easier than its predecessors. I floated through the game in my first play-through very quickly...

And despite earning 2 out of 3 medals during that first run, the game has yet to deliver them to my profile...

(and yes, I was playing Version 1.4...Firefox also clears my cache everytime I close my browser...)

~LikeEverybodyElse~ -by Cayler

"Hmmm..."

date: March 7, 2009

The lyrics seemed appropriate and the vocals were working well with the tune. The music was meshing well with the pianos, drums, and other beats you had going on. All sounded great.

But than in the final stretch at the end, things fell apart for me. The vocals and echo were thrown with all the effects at once that it sounded a bit jumbled.

Perhaps its what you had intended... but I still had to rewind twice at that point before checking down at the lyrics to confirm what I thought you had said...

All in all though, its still a good song. An impressive 4minute track accomplished in a very short amount of time.

Author's Response:

So were you listening to the lyrics and understanding them without reading up until that final stretch? I thought it was so poorly mastered that anybody who listened would have to read the lyrics for sure if they wanted to understand. So if you were able to understand without reading, then it turned out clearer than I thought. lol That final stretch was jumbled because I didn't know exactly what to do with my bad situation. I had the idea of continuing the main chorus but having more predominant ad libbed vocals over them but there was just no way of that happening with the way the mastering was working so I just sorta threw it all together and hoped for the best. That's definitely something I'll fix if I redo this song in the future. Thanks for reviewing. :)
