Kudos on providing us with two different paths with which to tackle the game. It provides players with a reason to replay this fun game. (aside from just getting all the medals...)

Unfortunately, this chapter is much easier than its predecessors. I floated through the game in my first play-through very quickly...

And despite earning 2 out of 3 medals during that first run, the game has yet to deliver them to my profile...

(and yes, I was playing Version 1.4...Firefox also clears my cache everytime I close my browser...)

'Point and click' games are fun...partially because of the fact that they present a challenge where you must search and solve puzzles.

This game has great graphics and a unique story behind it, but the fact that you 'pointed' everything out for me meant I had nothing more to do than to 'click' wherever I was told...

I felt like I was playing on 'no-fail' mode of Guitar Hero...no challenge = no fun.

This game reminded me a bit of simplified version of the SNES 'Megaman X'. I think its the music that really gives it that touch.

My only complaint is the "cheap" jump at the end of part '[1_8]'. To reach the exit, the player "floats" by holding the jump button and dragging his forehead across the ceiling. Seems like a cheap thing to do in a series thats got a lot of potential.

Another thing to consider perhaps is bringing about a quicker difficulty curve. I didn't find the game much of a challenge till at least part '[1_10]'. Of course, the game is enjoyable from start to finish, but when presented with an obstacle to tackle, the fun shoots up exponentially.

All in all though, thanks for adding this gem to the library of flash games on Newgrounds.

I look forward to future episodes.

"Childrens story as told through flash..."

I love it when 'flash' is tested beyond its usual medium of video game parodies and cock jokes. Particularly when it is done so successfully as shown here.

The lack of dialogue or definition of physical features in the characters did not take away from this flash at all. The style was presented in a unique way and the scenes mingled with the tone of the music perfectly; playing whimsically at first, but then tensing up at the right times when it was called for.

The story was certainly easy to follow and simple. Perhaps that is why your not '100% happy with it.' I though found it quite fitting, all things considered, and am happy to see this addition in the Portal.
